Sanlam Investments Wins SA’s Best Equity Mid and Small Cap Fund for the Fourth Time

Sanlam Investments’ SIM Small Cap Fund has once again been named South Africa’s Best Equity Mid and Small Cap Fund at the prestigious Raging Bull Awards, holding the title for the fourth time. The awards ceremony was held in Cape Town on 11 March 2024.

The SIM Small Cap Fund is an aggressive, actively managed small to mid-cap fund with substantial holdings in companies such as Famous Brands, Sun International, and Reinet, among others. Under the dynamic leadership of Vanessa van Vuuren, the fund has shown consistently strong returns, cementing its spot as a market leader. Van Vuuren says, “We are proud to take the award again this year. It’s a big honour and attests to the robustness of our research-based approach, unwavering dedication, and active equity culture.”

In addition, Amplify Investment Partners’ Amplify SCI* Wealth Protector Fund was also named Best South African Multi-Asset Low Equity Fund on a Risk-Adjusted Basis at the awards ceremony.
